With our new studios now fully open, we have launched a brand new class timetable. Our Venom studio hosts Kettlebells, Pump, Insanity and more. The new Spin studio has even more classes throughout the week. We’ve also added Bosu and Hip Hop Cardio in the Mustang Studio.

Membership Offers

Pop in for a tour and have a look around the exciting new space at tfd… new studios, new gym layout & loads more classes. We’re a friendly bunch, so come and meet us. We have several membership discounts on offer and a reduced Joining Fee of just £15.00 per person throughout April.

  • Lisa - Owner & Manager

    The owner of tfd and passionate about helping & encouraging tfd members to achieve their goals. Lisa has a history of personal achievements in sport & business with many years of hands-on experience at Instructor & Personal Trainer level. Lisa’s aspirations for tfd are to offer nothing but the best to her customers. ‘Every single tfd member is important to us, if we don’t know your name just yet, give us another week & I promise we will!’

  • Steffi - Instructor & M'ship Advisor

    Steffi’s role at tfd is varied & includes delivering classes, fitness instruction, social media marketing, reception & organising events & challenges. Steffi’s passion for the job is demonstrated with her Zumba & Piloxing classes and her fresh approach to choreography & music. Having been a part of the team since 2007, Steffi has the answer to all membership queries & has supported many members with their personal goals. Steffi is a gentle natured instructor with a bite to watch out for!

  • Claire S - Instructor

    Passion, laughter & definitely lots of fun are the order of the day in Claire’s classes with her regular new routines, great music & a contagious energy for putting 100% into every workout! Claire also brings a lively tone to the gym floor with her previous gym & other fitness experience. Whether its weight loss, increasing fitness level, improving technique, motivation is seriously Claire’s forte.

  • Jamie - Instructor & PT

    After qualifying in 2011 Jamie joined the team to gain experience while teaching & supporting members on the gym floor. As a keen football player Jamie understands the need to train hard to achieve results. Jamie’s mature attitude & ability to get on with all ages gives him an edge over other young instructors. Jamie went on to his advanced fitness instructor qualification and is now available for personal training.

  • Alex - Instructor & PT

    Alex has been a tfd member for some years now and is qualified in gym instruction, nutrition, personal training & group exercise amongst other things. Alex's shifts will include mornings, evenings and some weekend. You may also see him around during other times when he is doing personal training. If you need any help with technique or any advice ask Alex when he is in the gym.

  • Claire G - Instructor

    Claire is passionate, motivated and committed to delivering classes and gym programmes that encourage ongoing personal achievement. Claire is a Level 3 Qualified Personal Trainer, Gym Instructor and Pilates Instructor and has been working in the fitness industry, part time, for about 10 years. In that time Claire has taught many classes for tfd and joined the gym floor team in January 2015. Expect to work hard but have fun too!

  • Sean - Instructor & PT

    Sean's role of fitness instructor means he is available for goal settings and new programmes as well as personal training. He will also be on hand to help you with technique, new exercise ideas to add to your current workout or any questions you may have when he is in the gym. Sean is a Level 3 Personal Trainer and class instructor too.

  • Emily - Instructor

    Emily joined the team in November 2015 bursting with energy to motivate and make fitness fun. As gym instructor at tfd Emily is already a popular choice for members to get a fresh gym programme that gets results. Emily trains hard herself so she doesn’t just talk the talk! Emily teaches multiple Spin classes each week and always has a busy class, next on the list is Cardio Combat & Pump so watch this space!

  • Sarah - M'ship Manager

    Sarah joined tfd during the set up stages in 2004 & took on the role of membership manager in 2006. Being experienced in customer service & administration, Sarah now manages all aspects of membership administration & front of house activity. Customer satisfaction is priority for Sarah who is always available to chat to regarding membership queries & any other comments or feedback regarding tfd’s services or facilities.   • Heidi - M'ship Administrator

    Having been a part of tfd from the very beginning, Heidi now works part time supporting members with membership queries, bookings & general advice. She deals with membership administration relating to direct debits too. Heidi also provides marketing support & is hands on with event organising as well.

  • Hannah - Gym & M'ship support

    Hannah will be assisting with general enquiries, class bookings & membership queries. You’ll see Hannah at the desk during weekday evenings and weekends.

  • Fiona - tfd Hair Studio Senior Stylist

    Our studio manger Fiona is an experienced senior stylist with 10 years experience in the industry. Since joining the tfd team in May 2013 she has worked full time offering daytime, evening and weekend appointments. Fiona’s creativity with her colouring and styling will leave your hair feeling wonderful. Her fun, friendly approach to her work will make you smile, even after a bad day... Expect to have a giggle whenever Fiona is around!

  • Michelle - tfd Hair Studio Stylist

    Michelle joined the salon in April 2014 after a successful first year for tfd hair studio. Michelle works part time and offers daytime, evening and weekend appointments in the busy salon. Her approachable manner will make you feel at ease whether it’s a re-style or a quick trim you are after. If you come for a workout and would like to see if you can be fitted in for a trim, just pop your head in to see Michelle.

  • Elaine - Class Instructor

    A highly talented freestyle instructor who makes routines fun, innovative & challenging. Elaine also teaches our Dance Workshops.

    Initially specialised in teaching pilates and has continued her personal development making her a great all round class instructor.
