With our new studios now fully open, we have launched a brand new class timetable. Our Venom studio hosts Kettlebells, Pump, Insanity and more. The new Spin studio has even more classes throughout the week. We’ve also added Bosu and Hip Hop Cardio in the Mustang Studio.

Membership Offers

Pop in for a tour and have a look around the exciting new space at tfd… new studios, new gym layout & loads more classes. We’re a friendly bunch, so come and meet us. We have several membership discounts on offer and a reduced Joining Fee of just £15.00 per person throughout April.

Gymnasium, Free Weights & Core Stability

tfd is different. We want to promote freedom, individuality & social to your gym experience. The layout of the cardio vascular machines is circular with space between each machine for your comfort. you can plug your earphones in to the cardio theatre music system, tv's or of course your own ipod or mp3.

We don't have mirrors all over the place, but do have a couple in the weights areas to help aid correct posture.

We have an extra large space for mat exercises, stretching and fitball work. Abs & stretching are often left out due to the lack of personal space but at tfd we have thought this through carefully for you.

Our instructors are real people too. We won't expect you all to want to become an elite athlete but if you want to we will help you too! Our knowledge and experience as a team is unparalleled and we will always go the extra mile to help you achieve your goals.


  • Technogym cardio vascular & resistance equipment all with cardio-theatre & selected machines with built in tv screens.
  • Concept 2 rowing machines.
  • Free weights including dumbbells from 1kg to 50kg, smith machine, incline & decline bench press, olympic power lifting stack, power rack & a range of iso-lever free weight equipment.
  • An extra large free exercise work area with a number of fit balls, stability pads, ab cradles, ankle/wrist weights & medicine balls.


What is Kinesis

A fantastic way to increase balance, strength, speed, stamina and suppleness. Use of kinesis’ floating pulley system can increase proprioception, the body’s own awareness of itself within an environment and can increase strength by 30%.

It can be used in general training or in the development of specific movement relating to an individual sport. It can also be used for rehabilitation. Kinesis can be adapted for any age or ability and tailored to many goals.

Our classes are geared to all abilities and age groups and this is the best way to start using the equipment. We can also write a personal kinesis routine into your training programme as the kinesis studio can be used at any time by individuals other than when a class is taking place.
